Die Push- und Pull-Faktoren reichen z.B. vom Arbeitsangebot und dessen Nachfrage, den Bildungschancen, der höheren Sicherheit im Zielland bis hin zur Familienzusammenführung. Dennoch werden Migranten weltweit mit ihren individuellen Erlebnissen und Erfahrungen kategorisiert und bekommen, je nach Gesetzeslage der jeweiligen Nation, Stati auferlegt, welche ihre Zukunftsperspektiven festlegen.
