When the Romans thought they controlled the world, this was really the lands around the Mediterranean. The Asians occupied the rest of the world, most of which the West never knew existed. All of the wars which occurred in the last century could have been avoided, if Asia, including Russia, had a mutual defense agreement. This was accomplished in the thirteenth century by Hun-Mongol royals. Also, there was a meeting of Asian leades in China around the middle of 2006.
