Cunningham amazingly interweaves three different times, places and lives in his fiction and at the same time closely follows Woolf?s original story. Woolf?s unique style comes to a new life in the film adaptation of The Hours, (directed by Stephen Daldry in 2002) which also brings a new image to both Woolf and to one of her most well known character: Mrs. Dalloway.
