Ob psychosoziale Arbeitsbelastungen bei Ärzten auch die Qualität der geleisteten Versorgung beeinträchtigen und damit ebenso die Gesundheit von Patienten gefährden, wurde bisher nicht untersucht. In der vorliegenden Arbeit geht es daher um die zentrale Frage, inwieweit die Qualität der Patientenversorgung an die Arbeitsbedingungen von Ärzten im Krankenhaus geknüpft ist.
