The author has long enjoyed scholarship. However, the act of composing a book to honor his companions was one of his greatest challenges. The story Peaches has to tell is also dedicated to Kulu. She did save Peaches life, and the moment they met it was truly love at first site as was the case for Parris and Suzee.
